You will notice the work to the pond which after 20 years had become necessary due to excessive growth of the bulrushes, other vegetation and accumulated silt. A lot of this has now been removed and we have lined the leak area, which had insufficient clay lining, with bentonite matting.

There are further works we would like to carry out to enhance the pond and wider site including: repairing/enhancing the log seats, relocating the interpretation board and fitting a new gate. There is also the ongoing maintenance work: track repairs, tree care and grass cutting.
