“I didn’t know what really happened the day that my Dad died and I didn’t want to upset my Mum and Gran by asking them, as they cried a lot after that and I didn’t want to talk to people about it….when I went to Play Therapy I could draw it out and write about it and the Play therapist was with me when I played about what I felt with the wee figures…she helped me with the bad times and to put the missing pieces together…she stayed with me till I could remember all the good times with my Dad again and I don’t think about the sad day all the time now…play therapy helped me and I tell others that it can help them too…”
