Music in the Round is a charity dedicated to bringing people closer to music. Through our unique style of friendly, lively concerts at our home in Sheffield and around the UK, and our learning & participation programme, we present chamber music to people of all ages and backgrounds. Each year we stage hundreds of events in dozens of places across the country, engaging audiences of 20-25,000 people, including around 10,000 young people aged 0-19.
However, to sustain all our activity – live concerts, workshops with schools, community projects and championing young musicians – we need your support. We are grateful to our funders, and proud of the income we earn through ticket sales, but each year we still need to raise thousands of pounds from individuals like you to continue our vital work of inspiring young people and bringing live music into the hearts of communities up and down the country.
We need your support to bring music to as many people as we can, so please sponsor our Grade-a-thoners as they face the highs and lows of learning a brand new instrument!
