Story
MK2 is proud to be supporting Resources for Autism, and running the Royal Sutton Fun Run (including the infamous "Cardiac Hill") to raise much-needed funds for this great cause, for a second year.
RfA works with autistic people of all ages, providing weekend clubs and holiday schemes which give them a safe space to be themselves and be understood and celebrated for who they are, whilst supporting them to develop new skills, find strategies to cope with overwhelm, engage with the local community, and most importantly to make friends and have fun. RfA also works with individual families at moments of crisis to help them understand and react positively to autistic behaviours, and provides individuals mentoring and befriending to break isolation.
Please support these intrepid runners and help RfA to keep providing these vital services.
When [my son] started RfA, he was declined from school because they couldn’t meet his needs I was worried about his future since places kept turning us away at such a young age. Your support gave us hope that things would get better and they really have - he is thriving at RfA.
