Story
Assam is facing devasting floods, heavy monsoon rainfall, the geography of the Brahmaputra Valley, and rising environmental challenges have caused widespread destruction across the region.
The latest floods have claimed 68 lives and affected more than 524,000 people across five districts of Assam. Thousands of families have been forced to leave their homes, with many seeking shelter in emergency relief camps while struggling to access basic necessities such as food, clean drinking water, medical support and essential supplies.
Among the worst affected areas is Charaideo, where communities have been left vulnerable as floodwaters continue to disrupt daily life.
At Midland Langar Seva Society, our mission has always been to stand beside communities in their greatest time of need. Our dedicated MLSS disaster relief team has been dispatched and is already on the ground in Assam, providing flood relief seva to affected communities. The team is supporting families with essential aid, offering practical assistance, and bringing hope to those facing unimaginable hardship during this difficult time.
Through this relief effort, we aim to provide immediate support to those impacted by the floods and ensure families receive the care and assistance they urgently need.
Your support can help us reach more people, provide essential supplies and continue our commitment of serving humanity without boundaries.
Together, we can bring hope, dignity and support to families affected by this devastating crisis.
