MNight is one of the annual trademark programs of all Malaysian Societies under Universities around the United Kingdom. It is a program to help connect students and the communities here to the Malaysian culture in foreign countries and to provide opportunities for others to learn about the Malaysian culture.
Birmingham MNight 2024 will be the first MNight for Birmingham, this event does not only promote Malaysian Culture but it also does promote University of Birmingham, hence explains why the location choice is in University instead of off-campus venue.
Birmingham MNight can help to build a stronger community among Malaysians, providing them with a space to come together and connect with their cultural heritage. This event aims to increase cross-cultural understanding and appreciation by asking others to engage together, which will create a stronger sense of inclusivity and diversity. Through a series of dances, music and art alongside an intriguing storyline, this night will contribute to the cultural richness, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of Malaysian culture among local residents, and strengthening social bonds within the community.
The event will take place on the 23rd of February 2024 at the Elgar Concert Hall, Bramall Music Building, University of Birmingham.
The money raised on this page will be sent to the Malaysian Society University of Birmingham Guild Bank Account.
