Story

The Molineux Sleepout is back for 2023!

Wolves fans and residents of the city are invited to spend a night sleeping rough in the Stan Cullis Stand to raise funds and awareness to support the homeless and vulnerable in the City of Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton has a population of 263,700 and is ranked the 11th most-income deprived local authority in England.

In the most recent data from Office for National Statistics, 21% of the population of Wolverhampton is income deprived and of the 158 different neighbourhoods in Wolverhampton, 84 were among the 20% most income-deprived in England.

Wolverhampton is ranked in the bottom 10% of local authority areas in England for health.

The Good Shepherd have a 27% increase in the number of people accessing their food and crisis support service during the first six months of 2023, and a 60% increase in the number of casework sessions that have been delivered, compared to the same period last year.

In that same six-month period, the charity has supported over 250 people experiencing homelessness and nearly 1,000 people in total across their different projects.

All funds raised will be shared between Wolves Foundation and the Good Shepherd
