She’s running in loving memory of her Nana, Pat Stephenson, a much loved fundraiser and lifelong supporter of Gateshead Health Charity and the QE Hospital.

Pat was one of the very first NHS babies born at the hospital in 1948 and remained closely connected to the QE throughout her life: first as a patient, then as a mother and Nana, and later as a passionate advocate for Gateshead Health Charity.

Her belief in the hospital’s importance to the people of Gateshead and its surrounding communities ran deep.

Pat was a superstar, and now Molly is proudly following in her footsteps.
