Story

We are fundraising for Molly to create essential home adaptations to give her a ground-floor accessible bedroom, providing her with privacy and dignity at home, as well as a bedroom any 13-year-old girl would love!

Molly is a happy, funny, feisty, and very brave girl. She loves music and has a wicked sense of humor! Molly lives at home with her Mum, Dad, her two big brothers, Sam and Harry, and Skye, her dog.

Molly was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus but experienced many complications, resulting in her being profoundly disabled, a wheelchair user, non-verbal, tube-fed, and requiring help to breathe via a tracheostomy and ventilator. She needs 1:1 care 24 hours a day from her parents and a team of carers.

Molly’s home no longer meets her needs. An extension downstairs for a bedroom with a shower room is urgently needed. Planning permission is in place, builders are booked, grants have been awarded, and all our savings have been put toward it; however, there is still £20,000 to raise.

Having this extension will allow Molly to be cared for with dignity and privacy. No more bed baths—she will be able to have a shower in her adapted wet room. She will also be more easily involved in family life with her Mum, Dad, and her two big brothers, whom she adores.

Can you help make this happen for Molly?

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving whatever you can.
