In children with severe asthma, the airways can be persistently narrowed despite treatment with preventer puffers. This means that children continue to experience distressing asthmatic symptoms despite receiving long-term treatment and medication.

As part of our local giving for local health program, UBC has partnered with Monash Health Foundation to raise funds for a Severe Asthma Clinic Equipment to treat children from 5 to 18 years old.
