Berkshire is winning, on the field and off. Through our club support we have grown the number of youth teams with huge growth in the Women & Girls game, we are supporting disadvantaged areas by providing community cricket sessions, are building up a network of hubs for people with disabilities to come together regularly, and on the field our top teams (whose players are all Berkshire trained and bred) win trophies.
Our existing pathways that run through schools and clubs have achieved this and allowed your child to play cricket. However, there are still large parts of Berkshire where there are people that want to play but don't have a club they can get to, communities that would benefit hugely if they had something they could do together such as cricket but don't have a facility, children who see others in their school play but can't take part as they can't afford the kit, schools who would love to put together a team but don't have a coach.
We want to make sure that all those that would benefit from playing a game that makes strong communities, builds confidence and resilience, teaches about team work and leadership - have that opportunity. To do that we need your donation that will pay for kit, coaches and facilities.
If you would like to do more than just donate, you can become a Friend of Berkshire Cricket with a regular donation or perhaps sponsor a programme, kit or team. Talk to us if you want to be a regular supporter of Friend of Berkshire Cricket.
