On Friday 8th September 2023 at 11:11pm, Morocco was struck with an earthquake.

The epicenter of the disaster was in the High Atlas mountains, about 72 kilometers (44.7 miles) southwest of the Marrakech. While more than 3,000 people have died and over approximately 6,000 more have been injured, these figures are likely to rise.

In this difficult time, Al-Khair Foundation affirms its solidarity with the Moroccan people and its emphasis on providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the effects of the earthquake.
