Every Move Matters

Every move has the power to make a difference.

On 22nd and 23rd September, Resolution Interiors will be hosting a 24-Hour Move-a-thon in support of ACTA2 Alliance UK, bringing together businesses, teams, families, friends, and individuals with one shared mission: to turn movement into hope.

This cause is especially close to our hearts. ACTA2 Alliance UK is inspired by Lily, daughter of Jonny and Rosie Griffiths and granddaughter of Andy and Lucy Lovell, who lives with Multisystemic Smooth Muscle Dysfunction Syndrome (MSMDS), an extremely rare genetic condition caused by an ACTA2 mutation. Like many families affected by rare diseases, Lily and her loved ones face daily challenges, uncertainties, and a future that depends on greater awareness, support, and research.

ACTA2 Alliance UK exists to support families living with ACTA2-related conditions, raise awareness of these rare disorders, and help fund vital research that could improve lives and create better outcomes for those affected. Every donation helps bring us one step closer to that goal.

As part of our Move-a-thon, participants will spend 24 hours collectively logging their movement to achieve 3300 miles (Bath where Lily lives to Boston where current research for a cure is taking place). Whether you walk, run, cycle, swim, dance, climb, attend a fitness class, or simply take a few extra steps each day, every mile will be added to our leaderboard and every pound raised will help support ACTA2 Alliance UK.

Our goal is simple: move more, raise more, create more awareness, and change lives.
