Story
Join our January exercise challenge and give your mental health a boost. Set yourself a 31-day exercise and fundraising goal, and complete at least 31 minutes of daily exercise, in any form, each day throughout January. Moving more could be a great start to prioritising your own mental health, while raising money to support better mental health in Cornwall.
We ask everyone taking part to aim to raise a minimum of £31.
What do I have to do?
Choose your challenge. You can do anything you like to take part in Move for Mind in Cornwall. Have a dance around your living room every day, have a jog around the park before work, or walk the coast. You can even team up and take it on with your friends too, so long as you’re moving and having fun!
How do I take part?
Just choose your challenge, raise money and help us fight for better mental health.
It’s free to enter, you can download a sponsor form or create your own JustGiving page - just click on the orange start fundraising button!
And if you raise £10, we'll send you a Cornwall Mind t shirt to wear while you work out!
When is it happening?
Sign up from 1st to January 31st, and start your challenge. Exercise is personal, so pace it out in a way that works for you.
So, what are you waiting for? Sign up now, move more, feel good and raise money for mental health!
Why do we need your help?
Although we’re affiliated to Mind the national charity, Cornwall Mind is an independently registered and funded charity dependent on fundraising and donations to continue our vital work in the community.
We’re only able to help people in Cornwall experiencing a mental health problem because of your support.
For 1 in 4 of us, every day is a fight — this is something we cannot ignore. The funds raised will play an important role in helping to keep our wellbeing services running.
Every penny raised and donated, will stay in Cornwall.
No one should have to struggle alone. With your help, we can be there for everyone who needs us.
£10 - Will pay for us to answer a call from someone in need of support.
£50 - Will pay for someone to receive one to one support, helping them connect with others and feel less alone.
£100 - Will pay for someone to benefit from a wellbeing course, helping them to build confidence and improve quality of life
