TACKLING MEN'S HEALTH AT CCFC.
This November, we're not just growing moustaches, we're growing awareness and support for men's health.
At Chelmsford City FC & CCFC Foundation, our involvement in Movember aligns perfectly with our commitment to community wellbeing, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects.
In collaboration with Nuffield Health we are hosting a 'Mo-ment' - A mens social evening on Friday 7th November 2025 at the Chelmsford City FC stadium from 6:30-9:30pm. Together, we aim to make a significant impact on men's lives and contribute to a healthier, more supportive community in Chelmsford and beyond.
The evening will consist of social activities, great food & a few beers. There will be an opportunity to join in a walking football mini-tournament led by our CCFC First Team players & CCFC Walking Football Teams, where the aim is to 'Beat the Management Team'! (Consisting of our first team CCFC Managers & Coaches) If that doesn't appeal, there will be a walk & talk around the Athletics track or a penalty shoot out to take part in! As well as men's talk & health advice.
Our Walking Football Club is an opportunity for men over 50 to play recreational sport, stay fit & healthy, whilst creating a sense of belonging and at the same time - having fun! At CCFC, the Walking Footballers are evidence that football is more than just kicking a ball. They are regular fundraisers for Prostate Cancel UK, a charity very close to their hearts, as 12 of the members have had experience of the disease. They have now put in place a support and advice group for others, you can spot them by their distinctive banded socks! They are looking forward to extending their support to our 'Mo-ment' for Movember.

Our goals:
Fundraise for Men's Health: Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to Movember's initiatives focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Start Important Conversations: Use our participation as an opportunity to talk openly with friends, family, and colleagues about men's health issues, challenging the "tough it out" mentality.
Promote Physical and Mental Well-being: Inspire each other and the wider community to prioritise physical activity and mental fitness.
Let's make this Movember our most impactful yet!
