Story

The Sisters of Providence are working with some of the most deprived communities in the world.
They have three schools where they look after and feed around 600 children a day. They also care for the children’s families.
Many children are orphans and having lost both parents, they are cared for by other families who take them in. These children receive meals at schools and in some cases, parents receive a big bag of rice so that the whole family can be fed.

We want to help each child grow according to their own genius. - motto of the Sisters of Providence
Currently the main school building is in a bad state of disrepair so any money left over from feeding the children goes towards building materials.

As a country Madagascar faces recurring challenges such as droughts, floods, and cyclones, which have a negative impact on the crops of subsistence farmers, who make up a significant proportion of the population.
This leads to a cycle of poverty, where people are unable to save money for investments in transportation, trade, or increased productivity. The geographical isolation, reliance on subsistence farming, and frequent natural disasters contribute to the ongoing poverty in Madagascar.
Our sisters in Madagascar will not be able to do their work without you. Your donation enables them to continue their vital work.
