This September, two of our supporters are taking on one of the toughest physical challenges we've ever backed. On 17 September, endurance rowers Simon Johns and James Coquelin will row 60 miles along Scotland's Caledonian Canal in a single push — Fort William to Inverness, no support boat, with an estimated ten hours of continuous rowing. Along the way they'll pass 29 locks, including 13 stops where they'll have to haul the boat out of the water and carry it round on foot before getting back in.

The target is £60,000 — enough to fund a dedicated male cancer nurse here in Guernsey for five years, giving men across the island faster access to support and treatment, closer to home. Praxis has already come on board as headline sponsor.
