Currently nearly all events take place on the mainland, often in Glasgow or Edinburgh and this requires a huge financial and logistical challenge for players, families and supporters. So we are raising money to buy a 17 seat minibus that will allow the community sports teams to travel not only more economically but environmentally and together as one. Often ferries are near capacity and don't have room for multiple cars or mini buses are unavailable to hire in Oban, meaning that sometimes we are unable to attend.

Currently participation in off Island competition is financially restrictive for many families and individuals, but having our own community sports bus will significantly reduce this barrier and allow wider access to sport throughout our community and beyond

We are very close to reaching our overall target and hope that with one final push we can bring this much needed asset to the Island. So please donate and be part of something that will make a real difference to our superstars of sport.
