Release Counselling and Therapy for Women, the Charity which founded and runs Mummyshock in Sussex, is passionate about supporting women emotionally, as they find their feet as new mums, in a supportive community of women.

Run by professional Counsellors, who are also mothers, our goal is to nurture mental health resilience and wellbeing in new mums, as they care for their baby- enabling everyone to get the best start!

Since Covid-19, demand for our Mummyshock 10-week support groups has grown by 300%. The need is bigger than ever before, so that is why a team of us are running the Brighton Marathon 10k on 2 April 2023 to raise crucial funds to provide more Mummyshock support groups for more mums in the year ahead.
