Story
We are the PTA for Ilmington CofE Primary School. We are a small primary school with only 117 pupils. As the government continues to reduce the funding for schools, it is becoming increasingly important to raise additional funds for the school.
We are a really proactive PTA and arrange lots of fundraising events throughout the year, including serving tea and cake at our local Village Show & school productions, family events such as Bingo, Breakfast with Santa, Easter events, the list goes on! All profits from our events and any raffles held go direct to the school.
After receiving the sad news that there is no longer the funding for some of the music provision, The PTA have agreed to cover the funding required for part of the music provision from September 2024 to December 2024.
We are now going to be working together with the Governors, several parents and the school to secure the remaining funding for this provision for the next 2 years - £11,000.
Whilst we look into a variety of funding and grants, we have set up this campaign to get the ball rolling in the short term, especially after many parents expressed a wish to help support this vital resource.
We really value the continued support that we get from the Ilmington School community and appricate the enthusiasm to work together to gain the funds for this important part of the pupils education.
