Our Music Studio is Overheating!
Right now, the music studio at Coram’s Fields, a lifeline for so many young people is regularly hitting over 30°C. With all the equipment running, it’s become too hot to be safe.
Sessions are being shortened or cancelled altogether.
Our youth team can only let in 1–2 young people at a time, and some days we’ve had to close the studio completely.
This space isn’t just for making music. It’s a place where young people build confidence, find their voice, and take steps towards real careers in the music industry. For many, it’s their sanctuary — a safe, creative escape from the challenges they face every day.
💡 We need your help to fix this.
We’re urgently raising £6,000 to install an air conditioning unit that will:
Keep the studio open, safe and accessible all summer
Protect vital equipment in our server room upstairs
Ensure no young person is turned away from the space they depend on
Music changes lives. Let’s keep the doors open.
Your support will help us turn the heat down — and turn the volume up — for the young people who need this space most.
