Improving educational opportunities for children with albinism at Mwadui Anglican Primary School.

Mwadui Anglican Primary School is a Beacon of Excellence providing quality primary education. It seeks to improve opportunities for children with albinism. It needs funds for books, bursaries, minibus and infrastructure improvement.

The Charity supports efforts to bring relief to deprived families and individuals in Tanzania, in particular children with disabilities. We focus on community-based rehabilitation and educational development projects in collaboration with the Amani Centre, Morogoro and other partners in Tanzania.

Story

Mwadui Anglican Primary School is a Beacon of Excellence, providing good quality pre and primary education for children in and around Mwadui Mine. In an area of extreme poverty and where there are many children with albinism, the school is keen to improve opportunities for children with disabilities to benefit from a good education. Mwadui School is reaching out to friends to ask for financial support to improve educational resources, establish bursaries for children like Lucia (pictured), purchase a second Minibus (so vital to transport pupils safely from the rural areas) and improve its infrastructure.
