Please help us to continue our vital work to save lives in childbirth and support women and their babies to access high quality maternity services.

The current challenges of the fuel and energy crisis are unfortunately only exacerbated in low income countries. The costs of transport for women and families to access care have more than doubled in our project countries over the last year. Sadly for a period some ambulances have had to be parked unused as the government could not afford the fuel. We have worked tirelessly to make sure our work has continued and that our team are supporting communities to be as resilient as possible and, through our education and income generation groups, support women to access care as soon as possible and save to have essentials to support their newborns. We are delighted that participation in our community projects has increased over the past year.
