It is for this sacred month of Muharram that we request your help.
There is no doubt that in this blessed month, our deeds are weighed heavier--both the bad and good.
We hope that in every way, each one of us can demonstrate infinite number of good deeds; we humbly request one of which being donating to MYF to help keep Muharram alive for generations to come.
Where is my donation going to?
The answer to this question will never change: your kind contributions are going to help our community serve Ahl Al Bayt stay alive for every generation to come.
This year however, we are taking our answer one step further and showing you the breakdown of what a never-been-done-before event like this entails and how your donations will serve Ahl Al Bayt in very specific details.
ASSETS: £20 000 (Video, filming equipment, audio, staging, and cabling).
VENUE and FACILITIES: £15 000 (Parking land hire, venue hire, storage, toilet facilities).
INSURANCE (A NEW MUST FOR COVID): £1000 (Public liability insurance, travel insurance (speaker)).
MISCELLANEOUS COSTS: £15 000 (Lecturer costs, COVID protection, health equipment in case of emergencies, sanitation, PPE).
NIYAZ: £9000
The numbers above are still under-estimated as this is a never been done before event.
We know that it is a huge undertaking and the costs are higher than what we before set out, however MYF believes in the community's love and dedication for Ahl Al Bayt, that is why we are not afraid that we will meet these targets and achieve a Majlis in the name of Imam Hussain [as] even in the most challenging times of Covid.
