Nord Anglia Education has donated $100,000 to UNICEF's emergency response to India's COVID-19 crisis and they are working with their family of schools to further support the appeal.
UNICEF is racing against time to save lives in deadly second wave of COVID-19 infections in India. The situation is critical and has left many hospitals without oxygen supplies or available beds.
Hospitals and health centres across India are struggling to cope with the sheer numbers of new cases. Patients in critical conditions are being turned away, many dying at home without access to medical help.
Frontline workers are exhausted, and relatives are searching for oxygen cylinders to help treat or comfort their loved ones at home. Families need urgent help. We need your help now.
You can help provide critical supplies to save lives as cases continue to rise. Your emergency donation will:
- Increase access to life-saving oxygen by procuring and installing Oxygen Generation Plants (OGPs) in hospitals to treat severe and critical COVID-19 cases.
- Provide rapid, accurate testing machines in some of the most affected districts
- Support communities and essential workers to weather this storm and prevent further disruption to outreach programs and services for children.
- Support the ongoing distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
While any country is battling coronavirus, the whole world is still at risk. UNICEF is ensuring no one is left behind in the race to end the COVID-19 crisis. By donating-
- £50 could help pay for an oxygen concentrator.
- £31 could provide a full kit to protect a health worker, including boots, gloves, masks and coveralls.
- £100 covers the cost of delivering 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccines for more than 35 people.
Join UNICEF in a race against time to save lives as coronavirus cases rise exponentially in India.
