Naomi's Garden provides Conductive Education sessions in Rural Lincolnshire to individuals with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons and Genetic disorders. We have a waiting list of families who are waiting to access us and we therefore need a new space to meet their needs.

Six years of Fundraising, Hope and Determination

Naomi’s Garden has been on a six-year fundraising journey to create a permanent, accessible home for the families we support. It has taken years of applications, events, conversations, planning, community support and sheer determination to get to where we are now.

We have not done this alone. We have been so lucky to have incredible people, businesses and organisations walking alongside us, including Team Lincolnshire, local supporters, fundraisers, volunteers and families who have believed in the vision from the very beginning.

This has never just been about a building. It has always been about creating a place where families feel they belong.

Where we are Now

After years of working towards this dream, Naomi’s Garden is now seeing that vision become real. Our building project is moving forward, and we are getting closer to having a permanent space where children, adults and families can access specialist support in an environment designed around them. The building will help us provide more accessible spaces, more opportunities for families, and more room for the work of Naomi’s Garden to grow.

But we are not over the finish line yet.

There is still more to do, and every pound raised through this challenge helps us keep moving forward.

Why the Big Move Challenge Matters

Every week at Naomi’s Garden, we see our children, adults and families making their own “big moves”.

Sometimes a big move is taking a first step.

Sometimes it is sitting independently.

Sometimes it is joining in, using your voice, building confidence, or feeling brave enough to try again.

To the outside world, these moments might look small.

But to our families, they are huge.

“Every child and adult deserves to be seen, heard and believed in.”

That is what Naomi’s Garden is all about. We believe progress is not always loud or obvious. Sometimes it happens one tiny movement, one brave attempt, one moment of confidence at a time.

SOOOOO.....this year we are going for the Yorkshire Three Peaks!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge means walking around 24 miles and climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

It will be tiring.

It will be hard.

There will probably be aching legs, sore feet and a few emotional moments along the way.

But we are doing it because the families we support show us what determination looks like every single day.

Who you are Supporting

Naomi’s Garden supports children and adults with movement challenges, disabilities, additional needs and neurological conditions. This includes individuals with cerebral palsy, dyspraxia, genetic conditions, acquired brain injuries, Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis and many other needs.

But Naomi’s Garden is not just about diagnosis.

It is about people.

It is about families feeling less alone.

It is about children being given the right support to learn and thrive.

It is about adults rebuilding confidence and independence.

It is about creating a safe, encouraging space where every achievement is celebrated.

Where your Donation will Go

The money raised through our Big Move Challenge will help Naomi’s Garden continue to provide specialist support, practical family guidance, equipment, accessible spaces and opportunities for children and adults to grow in confidence and independence.

It will also help us continue moving forward with our building journey, creating a permanent home that allows Naomi’s Garden to support more families in the years ahead.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us keep walking alongside families who need support, encouragement and belief.
