The Nasio Trust is a UK registered charity and Kenyan NGO which supports orphaned and vulnerable children and empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty. Established over 20 years ago, our community-based approach is aimed at providing a holistic solution to tackling the root causes of poverty through education, healthcare, psychosocial support, food security and income generation. Our Philosophy. We believe children should not grow up in institutions like orphanages, where they are isolated from society because of poverty, sickness, disease or death of parents. Children should live in a loving family with dignity without being stigmatised by the cause of their vulnerability.

Story

Help Us Celebrate a Historic First: Twinning Musanda, Kenya, with Kennington, UK!

The Nasio Trust, alongside the Kennington community, is embarking on an exciting and meaningful journey—twinning two vibrant communities: Musanda in Western Kenya and Kennington in the UK. This unique partnership will foster cultural exchange, strengthen global connections, and create invaluable learning opportunities for both communities.

To mark this incredible milestone, we are raising funds for the official twinning signs to be displayed in Musanda village, along with a plaque to be placed on a tree planted at the ceremony marking the twinning. These signs will serve as a lasting symbol of friendship and mutual understanding, officially recognizing the twinning in both Musanda and Kennington.

By supporting this campaign, you're helping to celebrate diversity, build lasting international bonds, and inspire future generations in both communities. Join us in making history!
