Story

Did you know that having a sleep issue is surprisingly common? At any given time up to 40% of adults and 50% of children (this rises to 80% with a SEND diagnosis) have difficulties with their sleep. Yet in a recent survey, almost 60% of adults felt there was a lack of support for sleep issues. Sleep issues have an enormous impact on people's lives including their health and wellbeing, relationships, family and in the workplace.

Thanks to the support of national retailer, Furniture Village, we've been able to launch a brand new dedicated National Sleep Helpline - for adults and children - to ensure that everyone has access to high quality, evidence-based advice regardless of age, ethnicity, background or income.

Furniture Village are funding the first year of the helpline but we believe demand for the service will be strong and there will be a need for it to continue.

With that in mind we are already looking at alternatives to help fund the helpline on a permanent basis.

Alongside Furniture Village, we are launching a fundraising campaign in Furniture Village stores and online to support the cause.
