Ladies, the annual VHI Womens Mini Marathon takes place on Sunday5th of June this year and the National Breast Cancer Research Institute would love as many women as possible to join our team! In Ireland, 1 in 7 women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime with over 3,507 cases diagnosed here each year.

The charitys aim is to greatly improve the future outcomes for breast cancer patients through research. There are many organisations nationwide fundraising for breast cancer awareness, but the role of charity is unique, as the research it funds can help to ascertain the causes and factors that influence breast cancer and therefore help to develop effective treatments and medication to combat it and eventually a cure. But fundraising is key and that is why events such as the Mini Marathon are so important.

This year you will be joining several teams of fabulous ladies taking for breast cancer research. We are reaching out to women nationwide to help us fundraise. The VHI mini marathon promises to be a fun filled memorable day. We will provide you a Fundraising Pack which includes; Tee-shirt, Running Bag and Sponsorship Cards.
