Visit the charity's profileNorth East Autism Society's annual cycling event returns for 2023 with our London to Amsterdam Quaternity Cycling Challenge!
Following the success of last year's Twin Town Tour, we're heading back onto the continent and doubling the number of countries we'll be visiting, as we start in the UK, head through France and Belgium towards our grand finish in the Netherlands.
The London to Amsterdam route is an iconic cycling challenge for our team to take on, and will see our riders tackling the hills of the South Downs, enduring long hours in the saddle and facing the fearsome North Sea headwinds - known as the Dutch Alps.
All funds raised from the challenge will support North East Autism Society, which for more than 40 years, has led the way in providing autism-specific care and education for children and young people right across the North East of England. One such service is our ongoing Family Development programmes, which provide a valuable lifeline to support families before, during and after an autism diagnosis. These include family workshops, parent and toddler groups and acting as a first port of call for people searching for support, advice and information.
