Help Neena Find Her Way to a Forever Home 🐾✨

Sweet Neena has spent so much of her life simply trying to survive. Now, after everything she has endured, she finally has the chance to leave street life behind and discover the safety, love and comfort she has always deserved. This fundraiser will help cover Neena’s travel costs from Bahrain to the UK, where a forever home is waiting for her.

🌟 Neena’s Story

Neena was one of the stray cats her rescuer saw every single day. Sadly, life on the streets was never easy for this gentle girl.

Neena was always at the back of the queue. She would wait until all the other cats had finished eating before she dared to approach the food, and she was often bullied and beaten by the more dominant cats around her. Quietly living on the edges, she simply tried to keep herself safe.

Eventually, her rescuer knew something had to change. With the number of cats in the area growing rapidly, Neena was taken to the vet as part of a TNR programme.

That visit uncovered another battle. Neena was suffering from calicivirus, and despite medication and treatment, her condition continued to deteriorate. Eventually, the pain became so severe that she stopped eating completely.

Neena needed help, and she needed it desperately.

After having the majority of her teeth removed, Neena began to feel better. And as her physical pain disappeared, the sweet little soul underneath began to shine through.

Her rescuer simply couldn't put her back on the streets.

Today, Neena is the most loving, gentle girl. She absolutely adores cuddles and will happily sit on your lap for hours — quite literally until your legs go numb! 🥹 She loves being stroked and will happily drift off to sleep while she's being brushed.

And food? Well, Neena absolutely LOVES food! After spending so much of her life waiting for everyone else to finish eating, it's no surprise that this little girl now thinks mealtimes are the best part of the day. ❤️

After everything this beautiful girl has endured, Neena finally has a chance at the happy ending she deserves.

Now we just need to get her there.
