Ferry Meadows Country Park and the wider Nene Park is a highly cherished part of Peterborough. It offers residents and visitors a variety of recreation experiences in an accessible 700 hectare network of open space, woodlands and waterways. The Trust was set up in 1988 to protect Nene Park forever.

Story

For many years, Nene Park Trust has provided four mobility scooters, available for members of the public to use during their visit to Ferry Meadows, free of charge.

The mobility scooters give those with limited mobility the opportunity to explore areas of the Park they wouldn't otherwise be able to, joining in with friends and family or taking time to themselves.

After being well used over the years, our mobility scooters have been worn out and are in need of replacement, we are aiming to replace our scooters in time for the Summer.

We need to raise £4,400 for the replacement and ongoing maintenance costs of the scooters.

Please give what you can to help us improve the experience our visitors have at Ferry Meadows.
