Every day, families in Grimsby face one of the most challenging experiences imaginable — having a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Grimsby Hospital.

During this incredibly emotional time, parents often need to stay close to their baby around the clock. Our parent accommodation provides them with that vital proximity — but currently, these rooms are tired, worn, and far from the comforting environment families truly need.

We are launching a community fundraising appeal to transform these spaces into a warm, welcoming “home from home” — somewhere parents can rest, gather strength, and feel supported while remaining just moments away from their baby.

Our Vision

• Create a more comfortable, non-clinical environment

• Provide a calming space where families can recharge during an incredibly difficult time
