How many of us are relying on TV streaming services to while away the hours whilst we cook a meal for family, to entertain the children while we work or simply pass some time as a distraction from everything going on in the outside world. Families in refuge who have fled domestic violence are doubly affected. They have already had to leave behind so much, and now face struggling financially with few options to entertain themselves or children on a very restricted monthly budget.

We want to subscribe each of our refuges up to Netflix which will cost £200 a month across all of our sites. It's a lot of money for us and an additional cost we can ill afford to spare, but if all of our supporters offered a little (perhaps the amount they would usually spend at the cinema, or on a streaming service they no longer use) we could spread some cinematic joy to the fifty or so families we are supporting in refuge.

All money raised above the cost of Netflix will go towards our valuable work providing front line services for women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.
