Why are we crowdfunding?

After 2.5 years in a now largely empty shopping centre our time there is up. The Chilterns Shopping Centre is due to close and we need to move.

We have found new premises at 16 Church Street and need your help to turn this space into an even better Refresh shop!

We are hoping Refresh will be in the new shop for the long term. We will be a fabulous destination for sustainable materials, crafts and activities in the heart of the town centre.

How you can help

We have a long list of tasks to get underway to transform the space and move in. The new shop will need some work to make it into a space suitable for the community to use.

We will need your help to fund, move and organise the space. You've helped us before - please help us do it again! Any time you can spare would be hugely appreciated and every £1 donated will help fund a new start in a new space.

How we'll use the funds

We will use the funding to help kit out and set up the new space. We'll need to fund some internal work, paint, shelving and storage to make this happen. We are planning to move early in the new year - the closer we can get to the target, the more we can achieve!

We aim to create a whole new array of opportunities for you to get involved. Our well-stocked shop full of low cost, sustainable craft materials will be open longer hours, we will have more space for workshops and will host a new programme of opportunities to learn new skills and spend mindful time crafting, mending and creating - exciting stuff!

And if we exceed our initial target, any additional funding will be put towards the running of Refresh - every penny will help.
