Visit the charity's profileThe National 3 Peaks Challenge is a very tough event with the competitors attempting to conquer the highest 3 mountains in Scotland,England and Wales in just 24 hours!
The intrepid Team consist of Paul,James and Liv Fretwell along with Sherry Zaidi,Nivish Mahendrakumar,Szonja Szegedi and their guide Spike Westbrook.
It requires the hikers to scale 26 miles on the mountains and travel some 480 miles between the 3 Peaks with very little sleep and rest.
The funds raised will go towards much needed equipment for Special Care Baby Units to help sick and premature babies. Over the last 25 years New Life has helped so many little lives.
