Our qualified volunteers teach valuable new skills to around 80 members, including water safety, rescue techniques, first aid & resuscitation, whilst keeping fit and having fun in the water. Members have the opportunity to gain surf lifesaving qualifications to a recognised professional standard.

Story

We need your help to raise funds for much needed repairs to our club house located at Newport Sands, in Pembrokeshire. Built by the local community in the 1980s, the building is now in urgent need of refurbishment.

Since the club's establishment in 1970, NSLSC volunteers have been training our young members, enabling them to gain lifesaving skills and qualifications in a family friendly and fun environment. Many to go on to become the professional RNLI beach lifeguards who use our building in the summer months to provide a vital service, helping to keep Newport Beach and other beaches around our coastline safe for us all.
