A little while ago we collected warm clothes, food and camping supplies to support the people of Ukraine, directly affected by the war in their Country.  In total we sent almost 30 boxes of aid, for distribution to local people in need.

In Explorers, we want to try and do a little more to help and have been able to find a new project that ticks a few important boxes. It is helping the environment, run by local people and is making a difference on the ground.  That project is https://www.instagram.com/treetr.io/

To help raise money for Treetrio, six of our Explorers, Tash, Spencer, Ioan, Harry, Reuben and Tom, will shortly be canoeing the River Spey for their Gold DofE Expedition. Over 4 days they will canoe rapids, wild camp, cook over fires and sleep under tarps to get from Aviemore to Spey Bay. 

As they are raising money for Treetrio, they are hoping that you will consider sponsoring them in trees. (each tree cost just £6 to source plant and maintain).
