Our story
New Forest Christian Camp has its roots back to 1963 taking residence on the same farm near Fordingbridge for a week nearly every summer since the early 1970s. We estimate that over the years we have seen around 4000 young people experience camp and hear about Jesus (many for the first time). Every year we’re blown away by how God moves throughout the week, campers lives are truly changed (which might explain why so many of today's leaders were once campers themselves!)
Running the week of camp is a privilege and we're conscious to be great stewards of donations helping us to keep costs as low as possible for campers. Our equipment is modest - with some of our tents, tables and benches serving us well for over 40 years, however, we need to make sure our equipment is safe and suitable for future generations of campers.
Through asking individuals and churches who have been involved with NFCC over the years, as well as this public appeal, were hoping to raise the funds to purchase at least 2 additional new ridge tents, that will keep an entire generation of campers dry - and more importantly, enable us to safely run camp for an optimal number of young people for years to come. Each new tent costs £1250.
