To mark 150 years of Nottingham Girls’ High School, our entire NGHS community is coming together for a remarkable challenge—walking the length of Nottinghamshire - over 120km - in just over 24 hours!
Students, staff, alumnae, parents, and friends of the school will take turns walking in relay, demonstrating the power of a shared purpose and the strength of our NGHS community.
This is more than a celebration—it’s a commitment to the future. NGHS has been transforming lives through exceptional girls’ education for 150 years, and we want to ensure that opportunity continues. Every person taking part will be asked to fundraise as part of this whole-school initiative, with all proceeds supporting our Her Future, Your Gift campaign. These vital funds will provide bursaries, ensuring that talented young women, regardless of their background, can access the life-changing opportunities an NGHS education offers.
