The NHSs 75th birthday will take place during 2023 and communities across the country are coming together to join the NHS1000 mile challenge to mark the occasion.
Why not take part as an individual or team and walk, run, swim or cycle (or a combination) the distance of 1,000 miles in the year. Thats an average of 2.74 miles per day.
physical activity is good for your body and mind!
You can keep a record of your weekly miles and are invited to share your progress on Twitter on Sunday nights at 7.30pm using the hashtag #NHS1000miles and don't forgot to tag us (@cihospcharity).
Join the dedicated NHS1000 miles Strava group , which makes it easy to track your miles and to see how fellow NHS1000 mile participants are doing.
As well as being a great way to mark the birthday, physical activity is good for your body and mind. And its completely free to take part in NHS1000miles. Any fundraising you do directly supports staff, patients and your friends and family in our local community.
