Calm, sweet, and endlessly affectionate, he is the kind of cat who melts into your lap and stays there, offering quiet comfort and warmth. He’s incredibly easy to handle, loves being close, and has a softness about him that makes everyone feel instantly at ease.

It’s this loving nature that makes Nigel’s past even harder to think about.

He was found dumped outside a shop on the streets of Bahrain — alone, confused, and trying to survive in the unforgiving heat. The moment his rescuer approached, Nigel greeted them with trust and relief, as if hoping someone would finally see him. It was clear he had once been a house cat… and just as clear that he had been thrown away.

But despite everything, Nigel never lost his sweetness.

Around strangers, he is friendly and relaxed. Around other cats, he is polite, calm, and gentle. Nigel adapts beautifully to new people and new places, and he asks for so little in return: a warm lap, a soft voice, and someone to love.

And now, for the first time since being abandoned, Nigel has something truly special… a family in the UK waiting just for him.
