Last year, Micahs Place provided 4,440 nights of safe shelter to survivors of domestic violence and their children. When a survivor is able to escape abuse and spend the night in a warm, secure place, something wonderful happens: they sleep without fear.

Our services aim to wrap around a survivor and their children, to provide them with not only their basic needs but also with emotional support and assistance in navigating new aspects of their lives like the legal or child welfare systems, re-entering the workforce or securing housing and transportation. We strive to provide survivors with tools for safety and understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence in order to strengthen them on their path toward healing.
