We are incredibly proud to share that Northern Lights once again took FIRST PLACE 🥇, reclaiming our title as National Champions for the sixth time and making history as THE FIRST GROUP EVER to win a Semi-Final four years in a row in the history of the competition!!!

We are beyond excited to have qualified for the ICCA World Finals in New York on April 26th, where we will represent the UK alongside nine of the world’s best collegiate a cappella groups. We cannot wait to give our four fantastic new members the experience of performing on that Broadway stage! With our strongest set yet, we will be aiming higher than ever.

Thanks to the generous and continued support of Durham University, we have received substantial funding in previous years. However, the financial responsibility of taking 16 performers to New York is significant and one which we are increasingly shouldering as a society. We are therefore seeking to raise funds to help make this extraordinary opportunity possible.

Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean a great deal to us. Your support will not only help us reach New York but also strengthen our financial position for the rest of the year and beyond, as we continue creating ambitious opportunities for the group - including a two-week run at the Edinburgh Fringe!
