Noah's Ark Sensory Room in memory of Noah James Sibanda

Campaign by The Sibling Group

I run the sibling group charity for siblings and disabled young people and adults. My baby Noah passed away unexpectedly and we are now setting up an inclusive sensory room for babies and disabled young people ad adults.

We are a registered charity that runs sibling groups for children who have a disabled brother or sister. We give them a safe space to socialise with others with similar experiences and engage in group activities. We also run a day provision for disabled adults.

Story

At the Sibling Group Charity, we are dedicated to supporting siblings, babies, children, young people, and adults with disabilities by creating opportunities for inclusion, connection, and wellbeing.

Following the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of our precious baby, Noah, we are creating an inclusive sensory room in his memory. Noah's legacy will live on through a space designed to bring comfort, joy, and meaningful sensory experiences to babies, disabled children, young people, adults, and their families.

This sensory room will be a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment where people of all ages and abilities can relax, explore, regulate their emotions, and simply enjoy being together. It will provide opportunities for siblings to connect, play, and create special memories alongside their disabled brothers and sisters in a space where everyone belongs.

Our vision is to ensure that every individual who enters the room feels valued, included, and supported. By creating this lasting tribute to Noah, we hope his memory will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of countless families, offering moments of peace, happiness, and hope for years to come.

Every smile, every moment of comfort, and every family brought together in this space will be part of Noah's enduring legacy.
