Hadrian & Lakeside Annual Swimathon to mark the White Ribbon Campaign and raise vital funds for Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland.
Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland is a charity that provides services to women, trans women and girls aged 13+, who live, work or study in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, who have been affected by sexual violence and abuse at any times in their lives.

The Challenge
Individuals & Teams commit to swimming one mile in one hour.
That’s 64 laps!
Your support for our swimmers is massive! Please donate to the campaign or choose an individual or team to sponsor!
Details & Sign Up
Adults and children (8+) are welcome to sign up.
You can enter as an individual or a team.
Teams can be 2-6 participants and can be a mix of adults and children.
If you are in a team, you can split this mile up between you, however you’d like.
Entry fee is £10 adult (17 years and over) and £8 children (8–16 year old)

Prizes
All participants will receive a medal to mark their achievement.
There will also be prizes for:
- Fastest child
- Fastest adult
- Fastest team
- Furthest distance - some people may pass the mile and want to see just how many laps they can get in the hour!
