Northampton Legal Walk 2025

Northampton Legal Walk 2025 provides funding and support for access to legal advice and representation. We raise funds and distribute them strategically to organisations that provide free legal advice to the most vulnerable in society.

We are a grant-making charity, awarding much-needed grants across the county to create safer, stronger communities. Projects we fund include breakfast clubs, peer support groups for people living with disabilities, activities for older people, youth clubs, sporting activities and so much more.

Story

Every year, the Northampton Legal Walk brings together people from all walks of life—legal professionals, students, businesses, and local organisations—all with one shared purpose: to support free legal advice services in our community.

These services are often the only hope for people facing eviction, discrimination, family breakdown, or debt. With the rising cost of living and funding gaps growing, these vital organisations are under more pressure than ever.

That’s why the Northampton Legal Walk 2025 matters.

Now in partnership with Northamptonshire Community Foundation, this year’s event will ensure that every pound raised goes directly to local community law providers—those working on the frontline to make sure no one is denied access to justice simply because they can’t afford it. Our thanks to the University of Northampton, Northamptonshire Law Society and HCR Law and Northamptonshire Community Foundation for coordinating this year's appeal.

It’s more than a walk. It’s a commitment to fairness and a powerful reminder that together, we can keep the doors to justice open in Northamptonshire.
