Northern Lights aims to help families to put their child's illnesses on hold as they have fun, happiness, wonderful experiences and create precious memories. We do anything we can to put that all important smile on their faces by bringing magic and hope to the lives of many incredibly brave and truly inspirational children.

Every December Northern Lights enables 20 children to swap hospital visits for sleigh rides, deep crisp snow, reindeers, and snow-mobiles transporting them far away from appointments, treatment regimes, and worries to the winter wonderland of Lapland and a very special visit to meet Father Christmas.

Meeting the real Father Christmas in Lapland is a very special dream for all children, yet it can be all the more poignant for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Northern Lights Children's Charity hope they play a small part in ensuring that the dreams and wishes of such brave children come true in snowy Lapland.
