Story
We are fundraising for our activity centre Hut 10 to allow for upgrading and updating to the centre itself as well as improving upon the activities and events we are able to provide with newly purchased archery and rifle shooting equipment.
Hut 10, based in Tilgate Park, Crawley provides bushcraft activities for the young people. This could be fire building, cooking over open fires or shelter building.
Hut 10 aims to teach the young people how to use their surroundings while having a great time in the outdoors.
The centre also provides rifle shooting and archery for our young people to have a go at during their time visiting.
As a wider organisation, The Nautical Training Corps has been operating throughout the South of England for the last 80 years!
Originally established just after world war two to assist young people with returning to post war times, we have now evolved with the times to provide our offering we do now.
We currently operate 12 divisions throughout the south coast of England and provide a busy and varied calendar of activities and events for the young people to get involved with.
As an organisation, we aim to teach, develop and nurture important life and employability skills within our young people and adult volunteers during their time with us.
We are entirely volunteer led and self funded, we do not receive any kind of military funding some of our counterparts do.
Everything we do has to be funded through community events, grants and fundraising such as this campaign.
Every penny donated goes directly back into the centre and activities we are able to provide.
Thank you for taking the time to look at and consider our campaign, and we are eternally grateful for any donations we receive. Thank you.
