Inspired by a 1,000 mile run to fight child trafficking. Our mission is to fight modern slavery and end trafficking. Funds raised are granted to inspiring projects: providing rehabilitation for victims; delivering solutions to help end modern slavery; raising awareness and increasing education.
Story
The NatWest Markets London to Brighton ride has been organised to raise money for TRIBE Freedom Foundation.
It will be a 1 day event, cycling approximately 60 miles from London to Brighton.
TRIBE Freedom Foundation was
established by the TRIBE community
in 2017. Our mission is to fight modern
slavery and end human trafficking.
We work by raising awareness of
trafficking and supporting frontline
projects to fight modern slavery. We
empower the TRIBE community to
create an impact.
In 2019, TRIBE Freedom Foundation is supporting two of the most innovative and impactful frontline anti-slavery projects:
Ellas Home is an East-London safe-house providing rehabilitation, accommodation, and support for women exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation. In partnership with Luminary Bakery, they also offer training and employment opportunities, helping survivors to regain independence.
Snowdrop is a Sheffield-based charity and one of the first in the UK to provide long-term follow-on support for survivors. They work with clients on an individual basis to ensure their personal and complex needs are met.
Watch this video for an insight into the realities of modern slavery and the incredible progress which can be made by survivors who have access to quality long-term support.
